Lee Crooks

Lee Robert Crooks (born January 14, 1978 in Wakefield , England ) is a former English football player who u. a. for Manchester City , Barnsley FC and Bradford City . He ended his professional career at the age of 30.

Career as a football player

Between 1994 and 2001 he completed 73 games for the Manchester City first team. After a loan to Northampton Town , Crooks worked for Barnsley from 2001 to 2004 and for Bradford City from 2004 to 2006. In 2006 he was first awarded to Notts County and then played at Rochdale AFC from 2006 to 2008 . After a brief stint at FC Guiseley and Ossett Town , he ended his career as a football player in 2008.

Military career

After his career as a football player, Crooks joined the Royal Air Force . From 2012 he served in Afghanistan. His brother is also in the military.
