Lego DC Super-Villains is a computer game for Microsoft Windows , PlayStation 4 , Xbox One and Nintendo Switch that was released on October 16, 2018 in North America and on October 19 for all continents. It is the fourth Lego game from Lego and DC Comics . In this game, the player creates his own "super villain" at the beginning, who learns special skills in the course of the game.
action
Beginning
A mysterious villain was caught stealing superpowers while breaking into Professor Ivo's former laboratory and was taken to Stryker's Island to interview Lex Luthor , who was a colleague of Ivo's and who was participating in the “Amazo” project who the villain is. Then Lex and the protagonist (can be named differently in the game) flee with Mercy Graves from Stryker's Island. Meanwhile, the Joker and Harley Quinn flee Batman after a successful raid on Wayne Tech . Meanwhile, Harley observes and films with her cell phone that a crime-fighting group called Justice Syndicate from Earth 3 is making the Justice League disappear from a parallel dimension and take its place. However, she loses her cell phone during the escape.
Super villain recruitment and Justice Syndicate exposure
After Joker and Harley find accomplices like Scarecrow and Riddler , they break into the Gotham City Police Department to steal money. However, some villains are caught by the GCPD and sent to Arkham Asylum . The rest of them undertake a journey to Earth 3. It turns out that the "heroes" are in truth evil doppelgangers from a parallel dimension. The villains try to convince the Daily Planet that the Justice Syndicate is evil, but it doesn't work. After Poison Ivy is recruited , the team uses Harley's recovered cell phone to prove to the world that the replacement heroes are bad, and they are stopped by them. Then Joker, Harley and other super villains break out again to all form a team that stops the Justice Syndicate.
After some success in hiring more villains, Lex invents his own plan to solve the Syndicate problem by beaming the team to Apokolips in exchange for part of the earth. The protagonist prevents this and damages the machine, which brings him, Joker and Harley there, but leaves everyone else behind; but also beams the whole planet Apokolips to earth.
Justice League Liberation
The Justice League is liberated on the planet, which then supports the super villains. Together with a reporter they reveal the whole story and defeat the villain team, which is led by Darkseid and is looking for the "anti-life formula". Ultimately, Harley had this formula all along, which is now being studied by Batman at Wayne Tech. However, Darkseid kidnaps the protagonist.
Defeat Darkseid
During the rescue they defeat Darkseid and Lex demands to become emperor of the earth after he sent back Apokolips with all heroes and villains. But the entire citizenry rejects it. All the heroes and villains reappear on earth because the protagonist teleported them back. Then he has the choice whether he wants to be a hero or a villain.
