Teaching rescue assistant

A teaching rescue assistant (short: LRA or LehrRettAss ) is a rescue assistant (short: RA or RettAss ) with a teaching assignment. Teaching rescue assistants therefore have an additional qualification in the field of methodology / didactics .

tasks

The paramedic works as a lecturer at a rescue service school or as a practical instructor in the rescue service and is responsible for training and further education on rescue and teaching rescue stations. The responsible LRA must draw up curricula and training plans and ultimately control the success and issue appropriate certificates.

Since the training and qualifications not teaching emergency workers in the paramedic law is regulated (RettAssG) in the Training and Examination Regulation (RettAssPrV) or in the emergency service laws of the countries to the constituent organizations (ASB, DRK, JUH, MHD) on a common framework have the designation, the job description, the requirement profile, the admission requirements, the training course, the examination and the obligation to continue training have been agreed.

  • Repetition of provisions relevant to civil and criminal law ("emergency competence", "confidentiality" etc.)
