The Republic of Nauru sent two athletes to the third World Athletics Championships in 1991 in Tokyo , Japan .

Results

Tryson Duburiya finished on August 24, 1991 in the seventh heat over 100 meters of the men in a time of 12.04 seconds in seventh and last place. Among the 72 participants in the preliminary runs, only the Guamer Fred Rocio was slower. Tryson's twin sister Trudy Duburiya took eighth and last place on August 26, 1991 in the sixth heat over 100 meters for women in a time of 14.34 seconds. Among the 58 participants in the preliminary heats, only Faouzia Djaffar from Comoros and Terhani Kirby from Marians were slower.
