Leif Fagernäs

Leif Richard Fagernäs (born January 2, 1947 in Oulu ) is a Finnish diplomat .

Life

Fagernäs joined the Finnish Foreign Service in 1972. He served as the Finnish Consul General in Frankfurt am Main . At the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he worked as Undersecretary for Trade Policy. He then became the Finnish ambassador to Germany in 2001 . He held the office until 2004. He later became General Manager of the Federation of Finnish Businesses.
