The achievement badge of the government troops of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia was donated in 1944 by the armed forces plenipotentiary and commander of Armed Forces District VIII ( Silesia ) for the government troops of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia stationed there for repeated operational readiness for tasks of the Wehrmacht in three stages. As a sign of this recognition, the badge of achievement was awarded with a certificate. The bronze , silver or gold-plated badge shows the German sovereign eagle in the middle, on whose chest the large coat of arms of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia , consisting of the coats of arms of Bohemia (lions) and Moravia (eagles), is placed. Behind the imperial eagle can be seen two diagonally crossed swords, the tips of which protrude from the eagle's wings. In addition to the two wings of the eagle, a network of linden leaves and linden blossoms, the national plant of the Czech Republic, is attached on both sides .
