Power average

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The average power value is used to calculate the network usage fee , which makes up part of the electricity or gas price .

The mean value of the power is calculated from the amount of energy generated during the measurement period divided by the duration of the measurement period.

Example:

The energy consumption is measured by the distribution network operator with a corresponding meter in cyclical measurement periods ( registering power measurement ). The measurement period is usually 15 minutes for electricity and 60 minutes for gas. The energy ( kWh ) consumed during this period is recorded and saved as an average power value ( kW ).
