Cable trolley

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cable trolleys are a term used in railway technology and refer to trolleys that only have cables to certain facilities without them.

The brake line trolley does not have a brake that takes effect when the train is braked , but has a continuous compressed air or vacuum brake line. A cable trolley is also a trolley with steam pipes for steam heating , but which does not have its own radiator . There are also cars with electric heating cables , but without heating equipment. The heating cables are required in order to be able to place a car anywhere in passenger trains . This was particularly necessary in the case of wagons for luggage and express goods and in the case of unaccompanied rail mail wagons , for which freight wagons that could be procured and maintained cheaper could be used in this case .
