Lelex from Troizen

For Ovid, Lelex from Troizen is a hero from Troizen in the Argolis and a companion of Theseus .

He is a wise old man who served under Theseus' grandfather Pittheus . When Peirithoos , the king of the Lapiths, mocks the gods, Lelex tells the legend of Philemon and Baucis .
