Architecture and history

The four and a half story residential and commercial building was built at the end of the 19th century. The representatively designed plastered building is provided with a facade in the style of the neo-Renaissance . There is rustication on the ground floor . Segmented gables are arranged above the window openings on the first floor, and triangular gables are arranged on the second floor. The corner location, which gives the building special urban significance, is emphasized by a side elevation.

In the local register of monuments , the residential and commercial building is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 82090 . Presumably by mistake, the house is also listed at Salzmannstrasse 2 with registration number 094 77005.
