Lenchu ​​Kunzang (born February 10, 1992 in Paro ) is a Bhutanese marksman .

Career

Lenchu ​​Kunzang was appointed to Bhutan's national team in 2013.

Lenchu ​​Kunzang finished 47th with his air rifle at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon . In 2014 and 2015 she took part in the Asian Championships. She also represented Bhutan at the South Asian Games in Guwahati in 2016 and came in 17th out of 18 athletes.

In the qualifying tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics , Kunzang scored 400.0 points and finished 51st out of 57 participants. Although she did not reach the final, her score was above the Olympic standard of 392.0 points. So she started in Rio de Janeiro in the competition over 10 meters with the air rifle , where she finished 45th and was the flag bearer of her country at the graduation ceremony.
