Leo De Rycke

Leo De Rycke (* 1964 / 1965 ) is a Belgian basketball official .

Life

De Rycke played basketball in Merksem, Willebroek, RB Antwerp and Leuven, partly in the first Belgian league and in the European Cup. After working as a coach, De Rycke took over the managerial position at the Belgian top club Giants Antwerp in March 2010 . During his tenure, the team won the Supercup in 2017, the Belgian Cup competition in the 2018/19 season, and in 2012, 2013, 2016 and 2018 they were also in the final, but lost.

On July 1, 2019, he took up  the post of sports director at the German Bundesliga club Brose Bamberg . He had received a three-year contract from the Franks. The contract was terminated prematurely at the end of July 2020.
