Leo Mattioli

Leo Mattioli (born August 13, 1972 in Santa Fe , † August 7, 2011 in Necochea ; actually Leonardo Guillermo Mattioli ) was an Argentine cumbia singer .

Career

Mattioli began his career in 1992 as a singer with Grupo Trinidad . In November 1999 he released his first album as a solo artist under the title Un homenaje al cielo .

On January 15, 2000, he was involved in a serious traffic accident in which two of his bandmates, Sergio Reyes and Darío Bevegni, were killed. On August 7, 2011, he died of cardiac arrest at the Gala Hotel in Necochea.
