Leobard von Maursmünster
Leobard (Liebhard) von Maursmünster († around 680 in Marmoutier (Maursmünster)) was probably the founder, but certainly the first abbot of the Marmoutier Monastery, which was founded around 659 . Leobard is said to have been a student of St. Columban .
He is considered a saint of both Catholic and Orthodox saints. His Catholic feast day is December 31st and his Orthodox feast day is January 18th .
