Léon Nagant

Henri-Léon Nagant (* 1833 - 23 February 1900 ) was a Belgian weapons designer and manufacturer.

Together with his brother Émile Nagant , he founded the precision engineering workshop of the Nagant brothers ( E. & L. Nagant Frères ) in Liège in 1859 , which later developed into the world-renowned arms factory Fabrique d'Armes Em. & L. Nagant . At the end of the 19th century , the "Fabrique d'Automobiles et d'Armes Nagant Frères" began producing automobiles .

After Léon Nagant's death, his sons Charles (* 1863) and Maurice (* 1866) took over management of the company.
