Leonarda Balog (born February 5, 1993 in Križevci , Croatia ) is a Hungarian - Croatian female soccer player .
Career
society
Balog started her career with Ženski Nogometni Klub Plamen Križevci.
In 2009 she left her hometown Križevci and started her professional career at the age of 16 with the Croatian first division club ŽNK Osijek .
After two years in the first Croatian women's league, she moved to the Polish champions RTP Unia Racibórz in summer 2011 . After only one season in Poland, she returned to Croatia and signed for the ŽNK Plamen Križevci .
On January 2, 2013, she moved to Germany in the 2nd Bundesliga South for 1. FFC Recklinghausen 2003. She played in the second half of the season in 3 league games for Recklinghausen before she returned to ŽNK Plamen Križevci. In January 2014 she left Croatia and moved back to Poland, where she has since played for Zagłębie Lubin . After two seasons in Poland , Balog moved to National League A for FC Neunkirch in the summer of 2016 . In the 2016/2017 season she made four appearances in the National League A , was champion and cup winner before FC Neunkirch canceled his team in May 2017. After the end of FC Neunkirch, she kept fit in Croatia at the male 1. ŽNL Koprivničko-Križevačka (5th division) and at NK Viktorija Vojakovac , who is trained by former soccer player Tihana Nemčić .

She made her international debut for the Croatian national soccer team on April 13, 2009 against Lithuania.
