Leonas Alesionka

Leonas Alesionka (born January 6, 1949 in Švenčionys ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduation in 1966 at the middle school Anykščiai Alesionka graduated in 1972 studying medicine at the Medical Faculty of the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1972 to 1975 he was a doctor at Ukmergė Hospital and from 1975 to 1992 as a dermatovenerologist at Anykščiai Hospital. From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas and from 1997 to 2003 in the council of the Anykščiai district , from 2000 to 2001 mayor .

From 1990 he was a member of Lietuvos Demokratieinė darbo partija (LDDP), from 2001 of Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
