Leone Lane
Leone Lane (born November 17, 1908 in Boston , Massachusetts , † March 28, 1993 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actress of the silent film era and the time of early talkies.
Life
Lane was discovered for the film by director Al Herman . Paramount Pictures signed her and she starred in Josef von Sternberg's film Eine Nacht im Prater alongside Esther Ralston, her friend Pepi . She then played a similar role in the film The Saturday Night Kid . In the sound film era she was only cast with very small supporting roles.
Leone Lane died at the age of 85 as a result of arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
