Leonid Michailowitsch Rasvosschajew

Leonid Michailowitsch Raswosschajew ( Russian Леонид Михайлович Развозжаев ; born June 12, 1973 in Angarsk ) is a Russian political activist and employee of the Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev .

In October 2012, he was confronted with allegations that he, together with Sergei Udaltsov and Giwi Targamadze, had prepared revolutionary activities in Moscow , including riots on May 6, 2013 in anti- Putin demonstrations.

When he then wanted to apply for asylum in Kiev , he was deported by security forces to Russia , tortured and forced to make a confession, which he later revoked. The EU and US expressed concerns about the actions of the Russian authorities.

The authorities responded to the revocation with an indictment of an alleged hat robbery 15 years ago.
