Leopold Wiesner

Leopold Wiesner (born December 25, 1876 in Lauenburg / Elbe ; † May 7, 1945 in Velden am Wörther See ) was a German administrative officer and manager.

Life

Leopold Wiesner studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1896 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . After completing his studies and doctorate as Dr. jur. he entered the Prussian civil service. He completed the government traineeship with the government in Koblenz and passed the government assessor exam in 1905. He then became a government assessor in the Ministry of Public Works in Berlin . From 1911 to 1919 he was district administrator of the Preussisch Stargard district .

Belonging to the extended Haniel entrepreneurial family , he subsequently performed supervisory and control functions in the companies belonging to the family empire. He was a member of the supervisory board of Gutehoffnungshütte .
