Leopold Wimmer

Leopold Wimmer (born October 12, 1871 in Burgstall, Upper Austria ; † March 21, 1946 in Linz ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ) and association secretary. Wimmer was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament from 1925 to 1934 .

Wimmer worked professionally between 1919 and 1936 as a secretary in the agricultural and forestry workers' association and was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament between July 2, 1925 and January 29, 1931 and from May 15, 1931 to February 12, 1934. He lost his mandate as a result of the outbreak of the Austrian civil war . After the end of the Second World War, Wimmer took care of the reorganization of the agricultural and forestry workers' association until his death. He was married and the father of six children.
