Leopold Wohlrab
Leopold Wohlrab (born March 22, 1913 - † January 5, 1981 ) was an Austrian handball player .
Leopold Wohlrab came to the Olympic Games in 1936 on three missions; he also played in the final, in which Austria lost 6:10 to the German team and won the silver medal. In February 1938 the first world championship in indoor handball took place, in which four teams participated with Denmark, Germany, Austria and Sweden. Wohlrab lost 4-5 to the German team with Austria, and the Austrians again won the silver medal.
After the annexation of Austria , Austria could not take part in the first world championship in field handball held in July 1938 . Leopold Wohlrab was the only Austrian player from the 1936 Olympic team who took part in the 1938 World Cup with the German team; the German team won the title superior.
