Les Communistes (also Parti communiste genevois , dt .: The Communists ) are a political party that has existed in the Canton of Geneva since 2002 . It was founded by former members of the PST , among others , and has some members under the left-wing electoral alliance there in the city parliament of Geneva .

In 2007 she took part in the À Gauche toute! / Linke Alternative project and has been with the National Alternative Left party since 2010 . However, in the Swiss parliamentary elections in 2011, like the PdA Geneva, they were one of those groups that did not enter into any (sub) list connections with the AL; this was one of the reasons why the latter could not win a seat in the National Council .
