Les Marécottes
Les Marécottes is a village in the canton of Valais in Switzerland . It is located in the western part of the canton, in the Vallée du Trient , near Martigny , at an altitude of 1110 m above sea level. M. It belongs to the Salvan parish .
Les Marécottes is a popular year-round destination. The attractions include an alpine zoo, a natural swimming pool built into the rocks and a gondola lift that leads to La Creusaz ( 1777 m above sea level ) on the southern flank of the Luisin . In winter the village has a small ski area. Les Marécottes is served by the Martigny-Chamonix railway line.
