Leti (language, Indonesia)

Leti is a Malayo-Polynesian language . It is spoken by the approximately 7,000 inhabitants of the Indonesian Moluccan island of Leti . It is also used as a ritual and commercial language in the Tutuala administrative office on the eastern tip of Timor , for example at the Mechifest . Leti is closely related to the Luang language , which is spoken further east.
