Leverage is a Finnish heavy metal / hard rock - band that from the area of Jyväskylä comes. Their style is reminiscent of Rainbow and Stratovarius , they themselves describe it as Heavy Metal.
The band was founded in 2002 by Pekka Heino, Tuoppi Heikkinen and Torsti Spoof. Together they started working on songs. In 2006 they released their debut album Tides , which is influenced by 1980s metal.
