Li Gen (badminton)

Li Gen ( Chinese  李 根 , born September 24, 1992 ) is a Chinese badminton player . He is the son of Li Yongbo .

Career

Li Gen finished fifth in the Men's Doubles World Junior Championship in 2008. In 2010, he achieved his greatest success in adults to date when he finished ninth in doubles at the China Open. Further starts followed at the US Open, Canada Open and Australian Open, where he each survived the qualification, but failed in the main field in the first round.
