Li Ji ( Chinese  李 季 , Pinyin Lǐ Jì ; born July 9, 1986 in Yunnan ) is a Chinese swimmer .

In 1998 she was accepted into Yunnan Province Sports School, where she was trained by Li Wen. In 2003, she joined the national team after finishing fourth in the Chinese 200-meter freestyle championship .

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens she received a silver medal as a member of the 4 × 200 meter freestyle relay, although she was only at the start in the preliminary run.

In 2004 she was fifth in the 200 meter freestyle at the World Cup in Russia. Furthermore, in October of the same year she was sixth with the Chinese 4 × 100 meter freestyle relay and fourth with the 4 × 200 meter freestyle relay at the World Short Course Championships in Indianapolis .

A year later she reached the final at the 2005 World Swimming Championships in Montreal with the 4 × 100 meter freestyle relay and came in sixth.
