Intu Properties (formerly Liberty International, formerly Capital Shopping Centers) is a real estate, investment and insurance company with headquarters in London , Great Britain and was listed on the London Stock Exchange in the FTSE 100 . The company developed into a leading UK provider of life insurance and pension funds in the 1980s.

Intu Properties owns real estate investments in two areas: Capital Shopping Centers and Capital & Counties. These include the Braehead in Glasgow and the MetroCenter in Gateshead , St. David's in Cardiff and a number of other shopping centers. Liberty International was founded in 1980 by Sir Donald Gordon and currently employs around 507 people. It has been operating as Intu Properties plc since 2013.
