Lidia Montanari

Lidia Montanari (born January 11, 1948 in Rome , † November 6, 2018 in Ostia ) was an Italian actress and film director .

Life

After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and attending the acting school of Alessandro Fersen , Montanari started playing at the theater in 1972; she was seen in Le 120 giornate di Sodoma (director: Giuliano Vasilicò) as well as in Risveglio di un primavero and Cavalcata sul lago di Costanza e Eliogabalo , both directed by Memè Perlini . Other productions such as The Merchant of Venice and Cartopline italiane were created in this collaboration. Only very occasionally did she appear in movies. In co-authorship (screenplay, cinematography, directing, representation) with Giorgio Losego was barely got into the rental Castighi in 1985. A second work followed four years later with Le stelle fredde . In the new millennium, Montanari shot series episodes and television films.
