Memè Perlini
Amelio "Memè" Perlini (born December 8, 1947 in Sant'Angelo in Lizzola , † April 5, 2017 in Rome ) was an Italian actor , director and writer for film, stage and television.
Life
Memè Perlini has appeared on avant-garde stages since the mid-1960s; he studied at the “Accademia delle Belle Arti” and was responsible for stage set and design for Nino De Tollis in the 1969/1970 seasons. In the same year he began his work as a film actor, which he used initially and until 1972 as a financial basis for his theater projects. He could be seen on stage under Giancarlo Nanni (for whom he was also responsible for the costumes) and founded the “Teatro La Maschera” in 1973 with Antonello Aglioti and Alain Curran , at which he staged numerous plays as a director from then on, which for their provocations and Demystifications became known. He brought authors such as Aristophanes , Pirandello and Shakespeare , but also Artaud , Bukowski and Bataille to the stage.
Since 1978 he has repeatedly worked as an actor for cinema films, and has also directed several times for the big screen. His first two films, made ten years apart, in 1977 and 1987, took part in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival . In the new millennium, Perlini also worked for Nebbie e delitti in 2005 for television.
