Lidija Gaile

Lidija Gaile (born July 16, 1922 ) is a former Latvian long jumper .

Starting for the Soviet Union , she won silver with 5.66 m at the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 .

She set her personal best of 5.72 m on July 23, 1946 in Moscow .
