Lien Gisolf
Lien Gisolf (actually Carolina Anna Gisolf ; born July 13, 1910 in Fort de Kock , Dutch East Indies ; † May 30, 1993 in Amstelveen ) was a Dutch high jumper .
In 1928 she equalized the world record of 1.58 m on July 3 in Brussels and won the silver medal behind Ethel Catherwood at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam with 1.56 m . The following year, on August 18 in Amsterdam , she was 1.605 m as the first woman to cross the 1.60 m mark.
She set her third world record on June 12, 1932 with 1.62 m in Amsterdam. At the Olympic Games in Los Angeles , she was fourth with 1.58 m.
