Chamber of Bailiffs of Lithuania
The Lithuanian Chamber of Bailiffs (lit. Lietuvos antstolių rūmai , LAR ) is an association in which bailiffs are organized and which represents their interests. The Chamber of Bailiffs has powers under public law, for example in the area of the appointment of bailiffs or with regard to disciplinary measures. In addition, the Chamber of Bailiffs also acts as a professional interest group . The Chamber of Bailiffs was established in Lithuania when, in 2003, enforcement was transferred from the state to private persons (bailiffs).
President
The President is the chairman of the Presidium of the Chamber of Bailiffs. He is elected in the meeting of bailiffs. Head of Chamber:
- from March 7, 2003 to December 2004: Gintaras Matkevičius
- from December 2004 to 2011: Inga Karalienė (elected for second term in March 2007)
- April 8, 2011 to March 10, 2015: Aleksandras Selezniovas
- from March 10, 2015- (2019): Inga Karalienė
Court of honor
In the Court of Honor of the Chamber of bailiffs Artūras Auglys Jūratė Blažienė, Vitalis Milevičius, Virginijus Kučinskas and Sonata Vaicekauskienė work.
Revision Commission
The bailiffs Saulius Virbickas, Marija Lekstutienė, Nemira Šiugždaitė, Dalius Traigys and Jurgita Žilinskaitė work on the Revision Committee.
