The Office of the Lithuanian Criminal Police (lit. Lietuvos kriminalinės policijos biuras ) is a special Lithuanian police facility that was established on October 1, 2001 on the basis of the non-territorial principle. The Lithuanian Criminal Police Office is subordinate to the Police Department at the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania . The task of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Office is to contribute to the creation of a safe environment and service to society through prevention, detection, investigation, coordination of the investigation of serious crimes and international cooperation.

The guiding principle is to be a safe and attractive agency for society as well as for the collaborating partners, which provides quality service to society through prevention, detection, investigation and coordination of the investigation of serious crimes .
