The Police Department at the Ministry of the Interior of Lithuania (lit. Policijos departamentas prie Lietuvos Respublikos vidaus reikalų ministerijos ) is the central authority of the Lithuanian police . The department is subordinate to the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania . The headquarters of the authority is in Vilnius , Saltoniškių gatvė 19. The Police Department is a leading link between all Lithuanian police structures (16 subordinate authorities). In 2014 there were 170 employees in the central office of the police department.
