Kęstutis Šalkauskas

Kęstutis Šalkauskas is a Lithuanian lawyer, former chief of the Lithuanian police . He was the Lithuanian General Police Commissioner . Until January 1997 Kęstutis Šalkauskas worked as a prosecutor of Department for public action in the General Prosecutor of the Republic of Lithuania . From January 14, 1997 to June 30, 1998, he headed the Police Department at the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania . From April 1997 he was a member of the Lithuanian Road Safety Commission.
