Vizgirdas Telyčėnas

Vizgirdas Telyčėnas (* 1955 ) is a Lithuanian lawyer , former General Police Commissioner of Lithuania.

Life

After graduating from secondary school, he completed his diploma studies at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas in 1978 and the economic militia courses at the Riga militia school ( Latvia ) in 1980 and 6-month courses at the Kyiv militia college ( Ukraine ) in 1985 . In 2007 he completed his master's degree in law and police at the Mykolo Riomerio universitetas . In 1995 he continued his education at the FBI in the USA and in 2001 in Rome (Italy).

From 1980 he worked in the Vilnius militia, from 1981 as inspector, chief inspector, from 1985 as head of the subdivision. In 1991 he became police superintendent and from 1992 worked at the Ministry of the Interior of Lithuania , from 1993 at the criminal investigation department at the police department . From 2001 he worked as deputy general police commissioner and from 2008 to 2011 as general police commissioner. Since 2011 he has been working for the energy company Litgrid as a director in the internal audit department .
