Petras Liubertas

Petras Liubertas is a Lithuanian entrepreneur and lawyer and a former politician , vice minister , police commissioner general of Lithuania.

Life

His father was Vladas Liubertas.

On April 25, 1990, Prime Minister Kazimira Prunskienė appointed Liubertas as the first deputy minister of the interior of Lithuania . On February 28, 1991, Prime Minister Gediminas appointed Vagnorius Liubertas as General Commissioner of the Police Department of the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania and Deputy Minister of the Interior and on July 31, 1991 as Commissioner General of the Police Department of the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania and the first Deputy Minister of the Interior. On June 24, 1994, Prime Minister Adolfas Šleževičius appointed Petras Liubertas as Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior. He worked there until September 5, 1994. After that, Liubertas and Alvydas Sadeckas (* 1949), Commissioner of the Criminal Police , founded the company UAB Ekskomisarų biuras (Eng. 'Exkommissaren-Büro'), today the second largest (by number of employees) security company with 1,591 Employees (2013) in Lithuania .
