Alvydas Sadeckas

Alvydas Sadeckas (born May 12, 1949 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian businessman, politician and police commissioner .

Life

After graduating from the 23rd Vilnius Middle School in 1966, Alvydas Sadeckas graduated in 1971 with a diploma in economic cybernetics at the Faculty of Economics at Vilnius University . From 1970 to 1975 he worked as a member of the Central Committee of the Komsomol Movement in Soviet Lithuania , and from 1975 to 1991 in the Lithuanian Criminal Police as a colonel and chief police officer . 1991–1992 Sadeckas taught at the Lietuvos policijos akademija in Vilnius . In 1994 he founded UAB " Ekskomisarų biuras " with Petras Liubertas , the former Lithuanian Police Commissioner General , now the second largest (by number of employees) Lithuanian security company .

From 2000 to 2004 Alvydas Sadeckas was a member of the Seimas ( Naujoji sąjunga party ).
