The Araize is a river in France that runs in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Senonnes , generally drains west to southwest and flows into the Oudon as a right tributary after 33 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Nyoiseau and Châtelais . On its way, the Araize crosses the departments of Mayenne and Maine-et-Loire .
