Jonas Liaudanskas

Jonas Liaudanskas is a Lithuanian lawyer and former Police Commissioner General of Lithuania.

Life

On July 11, 1994, Prime Minister Adolfas Šleževičius appointed Jonas Liaudanskas as secretary at the Ministry of the Interior of Lithuania and on October 24, 1994 also as general commissioner of the police department. Liaudanskas worked as secretary and general commissioner until January 13, 1997. Interior Minister Virgilijus Bulovas appointed Jonas Liaudanskas in 2003 as head of the highest commission for the qualification examination of civil servants. Liaudanskas initiated the dismissal of Police Commissioner General Vytautas Grigaravičius , which turned into a scandal. In 2010 he worked for a few months as a consultant in the financial crime investigation service at the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania , after which he retired.
