Visvaldas Račkauskas

Visvaldas Račkauskas (* 1957 ) is a Lithuanian lawyer and the General Police Commissioner of Lithuania.

Life

After graduating from secondary school, he graduated from the Vilniaus universitetas with a law degree in 1980 . From 1980 to 1991 he worked as an inspector at the Ministry of the Interior of Lithuania , from 1991 to 1992 employee at the police department, from 1992 to 1993 senior assistant and head of the chair at the Lietuvos policijos akademija . From 1993 to 1997 he was Deputy Police Commissioner General , from 1997 to 1998 Chief Commissioner of the Criminal Police in the Vilnius City Commissioner , from 1999 to 2000 Lithuanian Police Commissioner General . From 2001 to 2003 he worked in the Kommerzbank, from 2003 to 2004 advisor to Rolandas Paksas , from 2004 to 2007 lawyer from 2004 to 2007 , advisor to the Prime Minister from 2007 to 2008, from 2008 to 2009 of the police commissioner general, from 2009 to 2011 deputy police commissioner general.
