Lift London is a British software company based in London , England . The company was founded as part of Microsoft Studios (now Xbox Game Studios ) and is the first European subcontractor that Microsoft Studios established itself.

Lift London was founded in August 2012 by Mike Rouse, Lee Schuneman, Mark Stanley and Jonathan Venables and opened on November 5, 2012 with 8 employees. In January 2013, Lift London was publicly presented by Phil Harrison and Lee Schuneman . The company's focus should be on developing cloud applications for smartphones, tablets and televisions. At the Develop Brighton conference , Lift London announced that 4 projects were already in production. The first project to be published was Paint 3D, which appeared on April 5, 2017, together with version 1703 of Windows 10 .

Lift London ceased producing games in 2018 and closed its social media channels.
