Lilija Leonidowna Wassiljewa ( Russian Лилия Леонидовна Васильева ; born May 3, 1994 ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Wassiljewa started in Vershina Tjoi in November 2010 for the first time in the Eastern Europe Cup and finished 26th and 22nd in the sprint and 39th place over 5 km freestyle. At the 2015 Winter Universiade in Štrbské Pleso , she won the bronze medal over 5 km classic. She also achieved 11th place in the 15 km mass start race and seventh place in the sprint. At the Winter Universiade 2017 in Almaty , she won the silver medal in the sprint and in the pursuit and the gold medal over 5 km classic, in the 15 km mass start race and with the relay. In February 2017, she was in Syktyvkar Russian U23 champion in sprint and km classic on the 10th In the following month she started in Drammen for the first time in the World Cup and finished 54th in the sprint. In the 2019/20 season, she came second three times and third twice in the Eastern Europe Cup, making it second in the overall standings. In her second World Cup competition in March 2020 in Oslo , she came 34th in the 30 km mass start race.
