Lilo Friedrich

Lilo Friedrich (born February 2, 1949 in Wesel ) is a German politician from a Monheim electoral community , before that she was active in the SPD .

politics

Lilo Friedrich was a member of the SPD from 1984 to 2009 and from 1998 to 2005 a member of the German Bundestag for the Mettmann I constituency . After her chairmanship and her own constituency failed in the Monheim SPD in 2009 and her husband Karl-Heinz was also not re-elected as a candidate for the Mettmann district assembly , she became involved in the board of the free voter community Menschen für Monheim and joined forces on April 8, 2009 with her husband from the SPD .

Life

Lilo Friedrich was unemployed for a long time after leaving the Bundestag, although she tried hard for a job and, according to her own statements, wrote over 100 applications. Friedrich finally got into the cleaning industry as a self-employed entrepreneur and has been working as a cleaning lady ever since . She made the experiences she made public in August 2006 and appeared on television several times.

Lilo Friedrich is married, has six children (two of them biological, two adopted and two foster children) and lives in Monheim am Rhein .
