Lilo Keller

Lilo Keller (* 1946 near Winterthur ) is a musician , piano teacher and worship leader from Winterthur, Switzerland .

She comes from the Baur family of piano makers and musicians, well-known in Winterthur. After studying classical music with a focus on piano, she worked as a musician and directed a. a. musical lessons for children on Swiss radio. With her husband Geri Keller, a pastor of the Reformed Church, she was in several many years parishes operate.

After years of working together, the desire arose to worship God with self-written and composed songs. Together with other musicians, Lilo Keller founded the riding hall band, which got its name from the regular appearances at non-denominational worship services in a former riding hall in Winterthur.

Most of the songs of the Reithalle band are written and composed by Lilo Keller or other band members themselves. The music style includes gospel , jazz and pop elements as well as calm pieces based on classical music.

After Lilo and Geri Keller retired from active church service at the beginning of the 1990s, they founded the Loop Foundation in Winterthur , the aim of which is to encourage Christians of all denominations through various seminars, conferences, pastoral care and advice in the faith, whereby the praise of Lilo Keller and her band plays an important role. The formation has recorded several CDs and, in addition to the events of the Loop Foundation, often appears at conferences and events in German and English-speaking countries.

Lilo Keller can also be heard on co-productions with other Christian musicians.
