The Limingen ( South Sami : Lyjmede ) is the eighth largest inland lake in Norway. It is located in the municipalities of Røyrvik and Lierne in Trøndelag .
There are char and trout in the lake . Minnows also settled in the 1970s .
The Limingen is regulated and shows as a result water level fluctuations of 8.7 m. Røyrvikfoss Kraftverk is located in Røyrvik . In the south near the town of Limingen , the water is led through a tunnel over Tunnsjø kraftverk to Tunnsjøen .
