Linda McCurry

Linda McCurry ( Linda Joan McCurry, married Morton; born June 20, 1955 ) is a former British sprinter .

In 1974 she was eliminated from the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch over 100 m and 200 m in the run.

At the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton in 1978 , she was eighth over 200 m and reached the semifinals over 400 m .

Six times she was Northern Irish champion over 100 m (1973, 1975-1977, 1979, 1980), seven times over 200 m (1972, 1973, 1975-1978, 1980) and twice over 400 m (1978, 1980). In 1979 she became the Scottish 200m champion and in 1980 Irish 400m champion.
