The Lindenhaus , originally called Einödhof or Hof Einöd , is a building in the XV. Graz city ​​district Wetzelsdorf at Erdbergweg 42. Its history goes back to the year 1619.

history

The house was first mentioned in 1619. Renovations took place in 1683 and 1793.

description

The house has a hipped roof with dormer windows from 1793. The facade with a classical window grille and pawlatschen railing made of wrought iron is dated 1683. Two stucco ceilings on the upper floor date from 1793, the Empire tiled stove from around 1810/1. The house chapel with a Josephine- Classicist altarpiece is located on the upper floor of the building . The altarpiece by Anton Jandl (1793) shows the Holy Communion .

In the garden there is a late baroque stone fountain with an ornamental vase from the middle of the 18th century.
